How I was organizing my todo list
I was using the abcde technique(I made an article about it here). In simple terms, it's doing things based on their importance. For example, all the things I need to get done I would put on my A list. All the things that should get done goes in B. Check the article for the meaning of D and E.
The new technique
I have noticed that all these big YouTubers started using this technique to organize their to-do list. It’s changing your tasks so it matches the amount of energy needed. For example, I created three columns High energy, Medium energy, Low energy. So based on the amount of energy I have I go to that column.
Pros
- You feel better while working because you are doing the task that you have the energy for.
- It's fairly simple to make.
Cons
- Very easy to procrastinate, because you will usually go for low-energy tasks.
- You need to be true to yourself, or else you will find that you wasted hours on an unimportant task.
