Have you tried to wake up but can’t? Have you wasted hours scrolling through your phone? If the answer to those questions is yes then the 5-second rule is for you.

What is the 5-second rule?

It’s to count down by 5 every time you want to do something. For example, if you want to do something like getting out of bed, count down to 5, then at 1 push all your spirit to get up. Believe it or not, you probably will be up.

How does the 5-second rule work?

There is a very big scientific explanation which you can find here, but I’m gonna keep it short for the sanity of everyone. In 5-seconds you ignore all the negative thoughts and the excuses that come to your head. When you ignore all the negative thoughts, and excuses there is nothing that is making you stay, and you get up.
